Clayton Savage, a member of Boy Scout Troop 423, selected Old Dry Road Farm for a project for his Eagle Scout award. Clayton (center of 2nd photo), who resides near the farm, spent many hours fishing from the dock at the Hottenstein pond when he was younger and had noticed that the wood structure had begun to show signs of aging. On Saturday September 15, 2018 Clayton and his crew arrived and tackled the rebuilding and improvements to the dock. The land side of the dock now overhangs the lawn so users do not have to jump the two foot gap over water that had previously existed. Our thanks to Clayton for thinking of ODRF and for the improvements that he and his team contributed to the farm. Great job Clayton!
