HOTTENSTEIN OUT HOUSE

Volunteers Max Ruth and Harvey Schaeffer have come through again for the farm. This summer they tore down the old, deteriorated out house at the Hottenstein property, and built a new one in its place. They used rough sawn pine lumber from Leonard Rohrbach’s sawmill in Bernville and constructed the two seater in a “board and batten” style. The new out house is ready for use at the festival. Many thanks to Max and Harvey for this improvement.
