Founders' Day

Old Dry Road Farm was started in 1976 with the relocation of 4 mid-18th century log buildings from the Hottenstein homestead. The 50th Anniversary of Old Dry Road Farm was celebrated with "Founders' Day" on August 1, 2026.

Highland Road Improvement - March 9, 2023

We contracted with A H Moyer to do the work. A huge skid steer equipped with a milling attachment on the front easily ground up the existing macadam surface into small pieces. The piles of millings were moved and smoothed out and finally the surface was rolled to compact the millings. In a few hours that section became the smoothest part of Highland Road. The cost of the project was $1,571.00, which is a comparatively large bill for the farm's maintenance budget.
